The gap this fills
Booking an offsite in the high desert usually means choosing between two bad options. Villas sell atmosphere and have no infrastructure — a beautiful house with residential wifi that folds the moment eight people join a call. Hotels have infrastructure and no character — a windowless function room that could be in any city in America.
This is the third option. Internet that holds a video call, printing, whiteboards, free parking, a kitchen — and Joshua Tree twenty minutes away.
Built for small teams, deliberately
Six to eight people sit comfortably; ten to twelve is the maximum. That is not an apology, it is the point. Most retreat venues are built for thirty and treat a leadership team of eight as an inconvenience. A board, a founding team, a department heads offsite — those are the groups this room was sized for.
What exclusive use means
For the block you book, no other bookings are taken. No members working at the next table, nobody wandering through to collect mail. The conference room, the kitchen and the bathroom are yours, and a conversation about compensation or strategy stays in the room.

Taking the whole building rather than the conference room is possible for the right group and is quoted individually — it needs advance notice because it affects our resident members.

Saying this plainly is deliberate. A retreat that arrives expecting something we do not do is a bad day for everyone.
